What is hoppl?

hoppl is our EV charger marketplace and allows charger owners to monetise their chargers and track usage

How does it work?

Hoppl operates via a cloud hosted CSMS (Charger Station Management System). A charger host pays an annual subscription to hoppl that allows their charger to be connected to the CSMS and is then able to apply their own rate card to the charger.  A charger can be available on the network, or its use can be limited to a private group of users.

An EV driver is able to use the charger and will pay for it either via credit/debit card or via a prepaid wallet in their driver app.

What are the benefits?

In the context of an accommodation or hospitality venue, hoppl enables you to more effectively service EV drivers and can act as an additional revenue stream.

With hoppl you can:

• monetise your charger with the intention of making a profit - you can set the times that it is available and the rates that you charge, and we manage it end-to-end
• make your charger available to your customers or the general public
• Keep track of energy usage related to charging - helpful if you need to capture this for tax purposes.
• Optimise utilisation of solar power produced at your site (if you do not have solar we can make some installer recommendations)
• Bolster your sustainability credentials: Support the rollout of electric vehicles through a regional-based business
• Better service customers and attract new customers
